Phytochemical screening is a general approach to medicinal plants and local knowledge that exists in the community. Tacca (Tacca lentopetaloides L.) traditional plant with criteria as raw material for medicine, but most people do not know benefits of these plants. tests have been carried out on ethanol extract taka by soaking 3 days. This Study aims determine phytochemical compounds found organs such leaves, stems tubers using spectrophotometric UV-vis methods quantitative methods. The testing mechanism uses plant's tubers. Screening phytochemicals included flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, phenols, saponins. From results Study, it can be seen location grows very significantly affects compounds. three research locations, Gorango village has higher yields, namely number alkaloid around 2,496.35 mg/kg saponins (4,203.32 mg/kg), followed flavonoids (7.20), tannins. (12.74) phenol (4.08), villages Bebsili Gurua. indicates contains compounds, including saponins, phenols tannins which properties pain relievers, anticancer, antibacterial, anti-viral, so used recommendation mixture ingredients world medicine.
